Before I review this bikini, I must say that I have been a fan of their Instagram a long time before I decided to make the purchase. Boutine LA is known for their famous, flattering, cheeky Brazilian cut bottoms. I decided to test the waters with this brand by only ordering a top. Needless to say, next time I will be buying the matching bottoms. 

I ordered the fitted top in Heather Gray which cost $45.00. This bathing suit top fit on the smaller side, but regardless is one of the most comfortable bikini tops I own next to Monday Swimwear. I ordered a size medium and there was no padding in it and the straps were not adjustable, but other than that it fit well. I have worn it several times to the beach and to tan and the quality has proven to be strong. These bathing suits are not too pricy and I would strongly recommend them. 

The colors on their website are beautiful, including many pastels, shades of pink, a hot red, and a trendy army green. Boutine is also known for their scandalous one pieces that have a very flattering back cut. One pieces are very hot right now and their one pieces are no exception. They have a few other styles for tops, including their new yogi bikini top that looks perfect for comfort and may be suitable for bustier girls. Overall, these bikinis are especially perfect to wear tanning because they are on the skimpier side. I am looking forward to ordering my matching bottoms soon.

Monday swimwear is currently my favorite brand. From their bright summer colors to their flattering cuts, designers Tash and Devin know what they are doing. My first purchase is the tulum bikini in light pink. 

My first impression of this bathing suit was how amazing the material felt. Monday swimwear has a signature soft, buttery shea material that suits every body type and feels heavenly. I am only wearing the top above because the bottoms are rather cheeky. The bikini was one size only and the top fit perfectly while the bottoms are slightly small, but still wearable. They have updated this bikini into two different sizes, small/medium and large/extra large. This was a very smart move because the original did not fit all body types. 

I bought this bikini last fall when Monday had a sale, but the original price for the top is $87.00 and the bottom is $75.00. This bikini is a revolution for several reasons. The designers created this bikini to fit your mood depending on the day. The top and bottom are completely adjustable, meaning you can go from full coverage to Brazilian cut in a matter of seconds. The top fits cup sizes from A-DD and is adjustable so you can show off how much cleavage you decided to that day. The goal of this bikini is to make the person wearing it feel comfortable and sexy, and I would confirm that this bikini does so and more.

I would definitely recommend this brand because of how amazing the comfort is. They have endless styles that are very up to date in the fashion world including strapless and a cross over top. They are full coverage bottoms and Brazilian cut bottoms that will flatter anyone. Overall, they have a wide range of sizes, colors and styles that are suitable for any age. These bathing suits are a bit on the pricier side, but the quality is worth it.

A Mermaid Life ~

I am a college student studying business and communications with a passion for bathing suits. From typical Victoria Secret bathings to designer brands, there is a swim suit for everyone. 

My first post is about how I came to be a mermaid. I was born in Florida and have always been drawn to the beach, so naturally I always had one too many bikinis. It turned from an obsession to a passion once I discovered Monday swimwear, Frankie's, boutineLA, and triangl.
